Today I’m focused on what a great President Barack Obama has been.
Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you for being a voice for cooperation even in the face of bullheaded resistance. Thank you for standing above the fray with dignity and compassion. Thank you for all the pictures of you with children. Thank you for sharing your lovely family.
Thank you for your humor, for your ability to take a joke and turn it around.
You certainly didn’t accomplish everything I’d hoped you would do in office. And some things you did I disagreed with strongly. But I trusted your judgment, your intellect and your morality.
Thank you for the memories, and thanks for the assurance that you will continue to work in our best interests.
This doesn’t even begin to cover all the things I’d like to thank you for, but I wanted to take time today to say THANKS OBAMA, and mean it.
